Beyond the Bike - A Beyond Ourselves Project

Beyond the Bike is 10,000-mile tandem charity bike ride from South Africa to the UK, which is aiming to raise £100,000 for Charity.
The ride lead by Stuart Block, a 33 year old economics teacher at Cranleigh School in Surrey hopes raise £100,000 to help young people all over Africa. The main charity partner is Beyond Ourselves who works with community schools in the Copperbelt region of Zambia. In particular they are helping to build links between Zambian and British schools, including Cranleigh. Stuarts is also raising money for 3 other charities.
Riding the 10,000 miles by tandem allows friends, locals, travelers or anyone he meets en route to join Stuart on this epic journey. Also it enables blind people the chance to participate, one of Beyond the Bikes key partners being ‘Right to Sight’.
